I've turned up late to the Gangnam Style party

But now here I am dancing my ass off to this K-Pop viral video masterpiece:



The video is currently number 2 on YouTube's music chart and despite having seen it around the web for weeks now, I hadn't actually watched any of it until it was featured in the latest Teens React:



I've seen a few K-Pop videos in passing but never been overly impressed by any of them, this one however is something special.

The tune is a decent sounding piece of pop which I'm told is all about living the glamorous lifestyle associated with Seoul's Gangnam District, analogous to Beverly Hills. But let's face it, the real source of this video's popularity is the wonderful display of dancing given by PSY.

(It also turns out I'm not the only person who has been thinking it was called Gundam Style.)

With their '5 people on 1 guitar' cover of Gotye nearing 133 million views on YouTube, what's next for WOTE?

Creators of one of the most viral videos of all time Walk Off The Earth's cover of "Somebody that I used to know" probably helped Gotye far more than themselves

There's nothing the internet likes more than cute kitty videos and this latest one is overwhelmingly cute.

A large number of Rémi Gaillard's videos involve football, a sport which lies close to his heart and for which he obviously has talent.



Rémi's videos have even attracted attention from footballing legends, recently leading to a challenge video from Ronaldo:

Well, Rémi has climbed back into the kart once more.

The original video went viral and had over 4 million views before the band pulled it and re-uploaded it via Vevo.

Trailer for new X-Men movie gets over 1 million views in one day

This is the first trailer for Marvel's 'X-Men: First Class' the prequel to the original trilogy.



Currently at 1.9 million views after 36 hours, it is the 2nd most viewed YouTube video of the day - an honour normally reserved for those titanic viral videos that have been passed around the internet for several months and are reaching maximum saturation (like 'Charlie Bit My Finger' with it's 279 million views).

The internet is hungry for this film. The fans are expecting it to be terrible but is this just because they've been hurt before? I'm looking at you X3 and Wolverine. The trailer looks like it has potential and with the talent involved it seems hard to believe they could miss. We won't know until the film hits cinemas on June 3rd (or torrent sites several weeks earlier).

Meekakitty Can Be My Star Trek Girl Whenever She Wants

One of my favourite people on YouTube is Meekakitty. She's funny, geeky, beautiful and running neck and neck with Julia Nunes for my prestigious "YouTube'r I'd Most Like To Marry" award.

Her latest video is just yet another of the many reasons I'm in love with her and her epically nerdy humour:

This is the best news I've heard all day.

This is simply a father and daughter covering a great song. As they sing, whistle and strum something magical happens and the internet seems to be falling in love with it.

The PUMA HardChorus

The first time I saw this I was equal parts terrified and captivated. It's a viral campaign from Puma linking football and Valentine's day by imagining what it would be like to be serenaded by a bunch of thuggish looking football fans. It's a great concept and I wish they'd follow it up as I'd love to hear more tracks performed in this manner.

Until that happens I'll just have to make do with the video Puma did for the campaign in Italy:

If anything this is even better than the English one and has been stuck in my head all day (aided perhaps by my repeated viewings of the video)
