Kid turns out to be an unexpectedly good beatboxer
The best bit is 18 seconds in when he kicks it up a notch and you can see everyone in the class suddenly look at him like they never have before.

"Watsky.. Meet Eugene.. Now make magic.."
That is currently one of the top rated comments on this amazing video of Watsky dropping some knowledge on 15th annual Youth Speaks Teen Poetry Slam Finals. (I know, a 7 minute poem? But trust me, it's epic!)
The comment also contained a link pointing us to Eugene, and he's not bad either.

A truly epic (and possibly record breaking) lip dub from the citizens of Grand Rapids, Michigan
After a Newsweek story described the city as "dying", 5,000 people took part in this monumental lip dub to prove them wrong. I think they did a fine job of it.

Son of Epic Meal Time
The Epic Meal Time phenomenon is taking over the internetz. It's a simple premise whereby they film themselves taking a meal and making it EPIC. Here's their most recent offering:
NSFW language and a sickening amount / concoction of food
It's even inspired this awesome parody featuring a 10 year old "Sauce Boss" and his younger sister:

I posted a video for Tim Minchin's 'Storm' previously but below is the officially commissioned animated accompaniment. It adds another dimension to this wonderful piece of work.

Check out this trailer for the forthcoming Foo Fighters rock-umentary:
On top of that we have the new album to look forward to. We've already seen the video for White Limo and now we have one for Rope:

Hot Chip make me feel better
While the song itself is great the pure genius of this video, directed by Peter Serafinowicz, is what keeps me coming back for more.

He's not bi-polar, he's bi-winning!
There's not much I can say about the Charlie "Tigerblood" Sheen furore that is currently going on. All I can say is if you haven't done so already watch this interview and then join me in crossing your fingers in the hopes he manages to stay alive for the foreseeable future.
Also, you might want to check out Mac Lethal's take on the situation (NSFW language):

Geek dad proves how much he loves his daughter
If you haven't watched the trailer for Dead Island yet I really urge you to do so. It is an amazingly moving 3 minutes of animation.
Of course if you're a parent it may be a little too moving:
(NSFW language)
As far as response videos go that was pretty mega. The fact that he stops mid-tirade to Google is epic geekdom, made even greater by the ridiculous racial slur he then comes out with.
