That Nikola Tesla museum you've always dreamed of is one step closer to becoming real. (Almost)

A crowdfunded campaign to purchase the former laboratory of Nikola Tesla (aka The Greatest Geek Who Ever Lived), saving it from the threat of developers and securing it for future use as a museum dedicated to the under appreciated inventor, has nearly reached it's $850,000 goal.

The project is run by the Tesla Science Center charity, who teamed up with The Oatmeal's Mathhew Inman, a well known Tesla fan.

Which is an entirely different thing to a Tesla Coil.

Trailer for new X-Men movie gets over 1 million views in one day

This is the first trailer for Marvel's 'X-Men: First Class' the prequel to the original trilogy.



Currently at 1.9 million views after 36 hours, it is the 2nd most viewed YouTube video of the day - an honour normally reserved for those titanic viral videos that have been passed around the internet for several months and are reaching maximum saturation (like 'Charlie Bit My Finger' with it's 279 million views).

The internet is hungry for this film. The fans are expecting it to be terrible but is this just because they've been hurt before? I'm looking at you X3 and Wolverine. The trailer looks like it has potential and with the talent involved it seems hard to believe they could miss. We won't know until the film hits cinemas on June 3rd (or torrent sites several weeks earlier).
