What's scarier than playing Slender? Playing it while drunk

I've featured the popular scarefest of a game that is Slender before.

Here's another video demonstrating the pants wetting terror it can induce, this time on a group of drunken guys.

NSFW Warning: About 90% of the dialogue is cursing, including some homophobic & racial slurs

Is Slender the scariest video game of all time?

The premise of free-to-play indie game Slender is simple. Take a pleasant walk through the woods while looking for 8 pieces of paper...

... and try not to scream so loudly as to disturb the neighbours.

The ultimate challenge is to play it in the middle of the night, having switched all the lights off, cranked the volume up high and aimed a camera at your face in order to record your ordeal for our enjoyment.

Even playing it during the daylight is a fairly harrowing experience.

The game's popularity has also inspired real life video re-enactments, showing just how terrifying simple a meme this is.

So are you brave enough to give it a go?

Zombies belong on TV not on our streets!

Why are these zombies wandering the streets of New York, scaring the crap out of unsuspecting members of the public?

The sex-ed class from hell (A short film inspired by the work of H. P. Lovecraft)

How can I possibly find the words to do justice to this exquisite piece of work? I'll just say it is hilariously disturbing and leave it at that.

Arachnophobic? You might want to skip this video

I was minding my own business, enjoying a rather informative article on The 7 Most Impressive Examples of Animal Architecture, when this happened:

I'm entitled to sue for the near heart attack and what I presume will be an eternity of sleepless nights, right?

This is somehow simultaneously hilarious and horrific

I heard this mentioned on Charlie Brooker's radio show and had to share it with you. It features Keith Chegwin, Lionel Blair, Jim Bowen and a trouserless Bobby Davro in a clip now used by the BBC to show how not to do things.

Five legged, two headed tortoise

How About That of the Day

I think she's adorable but in the wild the other tortoises would shun her meaning she wouldn't survive.

Spanish TV will scare the hell out of you

I think this is a Spanish TV show (you can tell by the lisps) and for the first 45 seconds I have no idea what is going on, but from then on it is awesome.

How do you think you would have reacted? And what the hell was that last woman about to do?!

There's something not quite right about this dude

So how long did it take you to notice?

Grammy reporter's on-air gibberish 'hilarious'? You might want to think again.

CBS reporter Serene Branson was reporting from the Grammy awards last Sunday when this happened:

Watching this on Monday morning, I at first took it be a hilarious gaffe. But as it continued it seemed obvious that Serene was suffering some form of neurological episode. The word "stroke" was quick to rise in my own thoughts and in the thoughts of the internet community. Serene has since been given the all clear which is why I feel I could now share the video, not to mock her but to celebrate her being okay.

Disney's Darkest Movie Moments

Despite it's cuter-than-cute outward appearance, there's always that sneaking suspicion that evil lies at the heart of the Disney empire and Cracked's latest photoshop contest proves it.

Here's a selection for you:
