That chemical in pools that turns blue/red if you pee? It doesn't exist.
I know. I didn't believe it either until I checked it on Snopes. Having heard it from so many people and seen it in so many TV shows & movies:
I never thought it was in any of the public pools I ever visited, otherwise they'd be nothing but dye, especially those used by Olympic swimmers. I just believed the myth that such a chemical existed and was used in small private pools.
Guess they'll just have to try a new scare tactic to stop gullible kids from peeing.
